Location

The land is situated off Flax Lane located in the civil parish of Lathom, near Ormskirk. Lathom is a dispersed rural settlement approximately 3 miles northeast of Ormskirk. The area is characterised by agricultural land, interspersed with farms and residential properties.

Ormskirk is a market town in the West Lancashire district of Lancashire. It is located 13 miles north of Liverpool, 11 miles northwest of St Helens, 9 miles south east of Southport and 18 miles southwest of Preston. In 2021 it had a population of 27,708.
